The Care Employer Award is given to companies of more than 250 employees and seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employer’s commitment to care and recognition of delivering a quality service. Carebase is transparent in its pledge to recognise, celebrate and reward hard work and commitment to the company’s vision of offering excellent homes and care, making a difference to the lives it touches.

This industry recognition is particularly welcome as 2010 is the first year Carebase has submitted an entry to the Awards.

Several employees nominated Carebase in acknowledgement of the huge support and commitment the company consistently shows both staff and residents. One of the company’s great successes is the implementation of the unique ‘Butterfly Training’, which has impacted beneficially on the life and environment of residents and has empowered staff to deliver high quality care.

Carebase commits to caring for residents but importantly also cares for its staff to ensure they have the support, training and guidance needed to provide the best care possible to enrich the residents’ lives.

Nicola Coveney, Managing Director, says: “We are absolutely delighted to win the Care Employer Award. Carebase is constantly striving to find new ways to improve the service it provides and is willing to invest heavily to achieve this goal. This Award is dedicated to all the wonderful Carebase staff who work tirelessly, passionately and with extraordinary dedication each and every day.”
