Acacia Lodge

Acacia Lodge is an elegant purpose built care facility offering nursing, residential and dementia care. It is bright and airy, with a stylish décor and state-of-the-art facilities throughout, from the communal spaces to individual bedrooms.

The team provides an excellent level of care 24 hours a day, so you can rest assured that your loved one is in safe hands. The carers and nurses are fully qualified and receive ongoing professional training – but more than this they are are genuinely passionate about caring for the elderly. This is reflected in everything we do. Happy, content and well-looked after residents is our sole goal.

There are no set visiting hours and families are welcome at the home any time. We encourage relatives to become integrated into life at the home as much as possible, whether that is helping with the care of their loved one or coming along to the many events we host.

Moving Stuart, who has vascular dementia to Acacia Lodge, was like getting my husband back. He is alert, involved in day-to-day life and he’s got his sense of humour back.  Mavis George, resident's wife
