List of care homes
Ashbrook Court
Ashbrook Court is a purpose-built home which offers the very best in nursing, residential and dementia care.
The home sees everyone as an individual and this is reflected in each resident being assigned a key worker to oversee their care plan. The friendly and pleasant environment is remarked upon by everyone that visits, as the team makes huge efforts in making residents and their families feel right at home.
Split into three tastefully decorated specialist units which all have spacious lounge and dining areas. The lovely grounds are surrounded by farmlands, with rambling trails that residents can also enjoy. The home is just a stone’s throw away from Lee Valley Park, which is another spot that features high on the home’s activities list.
Each mealtime is made into a special event with residents selecting from plated-up food rather than menus so they can make a more informed choice.
The dementia-specific areas are given a different feel, incorporating photographs of events that have happened over the years and vintage black and white prints. The spaces feature lots of tactile material and interesting objects to to pick up and touch.
Life at Ashbrook Court
The home has an open door policy with plenty of opportunities for families to voice their thoughts at the regular cheese and wine evenings and relative surgeries. In addition, the home manager and staff are always available to answer any questions you might have.
There are a variety of spaces for residents to enjoy some quiet time as well as social interaction with fellow residents. The home has an active calendar of events, which this summer included taking part in the Town Show. Ashbrook Court also organises many events within its four walls including garden parties, fetes and themed events. There is also a full and varied activities programme which residents can enjoy to their heart's content.
The home has forged close links with the surrounding community and welcomes in a variety of external services, from therapists to fitness instructors.

Dear Maureen,
I have written an official letter of thanks to Bramley Court via Matthew to let him know how privilidged we feel to have had Mary placed at Bramley Court.
I am very grateful to all the staff on Cherry Unit but I particularly wanted to thank you. I saw how skilled and kind you were to Mary but I also appreciated the time you took to acquaint me with what was happening. You gave me great support and confidence. Thank you.
Yours ever,
Gareth

Dear Sarah,
Just a note to express our thanks for the wonderful care you are giving Dad.
We are delighted with the improvement in his mobility and healing of his legs in such a short space of time. This is all down to such excellent care and attention by all your wonderful team.
We no longer have the anxiety over Dad's well being and feel so reassured that he is being properly cared for.
With grateful thanks to you all.
Yours sincerely,
Melanie Sargeant (daughter) & Deborah Wellings (daughter)
