Carebase wins Care Employer Award 2011 at The Great London Care Awards

Carebase is celebrating having won the Care Employer Award 2011 at the Great London Care Awards.
The Great London Care Awards is the regional ceremony of the Great British Care Awards, which are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to promote best practice within the sector and pay tribute to organisations and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
Carebase picked up the prestigious Care Employer Award for the second year running. This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employer’s commitment to care and how this is achieving success in delivering an excellent service. Judges were looking to reward the organisation that best demonstrated considerable acumen and entrepreneurial flair, whilst at the same time having a sustained track record of delivering high quality care and managing improvement.
The judges said: “Carebase stood out as it demonstrated a real culture within their organisation to invest in their staff. Compassion was demonstrated on all levels.”
Nicola Coveney, Managing Director, Carebase, says: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award for the second year in a row! It’s wonderful to have such a great team across Carebase’s London care homes and to receive recognition for their hard work.”
