‘Growing old disgracefully’ at Bramley Court

‘Growing old disgracefully’ at Bramley Court zoom

Our very own Bramley Court resident Janet Owens has been awarded first prize in the ‘growing old disgracefully’ category in this year’s NAPA awards. The annual awards recognise the standard of activities across the sector and acknowledges both the activity coordinators and residents of care homes.

It’s Janet’s debauchery on bouncy castles and brave trips into the bracing sea that have led her to becoming this year’s winner, an achievement that will be celebrated at the upcoming Gala.

Janet believes that ‘it is fantastic to be awarded first prize at this year’s awards and is a testament to just some the activities arranged for us.  If bravely swimming outdoors in the English sea and reliving my youth on a bouncy castle is me growing old disgracefully then long may it continue.”

The prize, £250 for activities, will be reinvested into the activities available to residents of Bramley Court.
