TV’s Dr Hilary Jones officially opens specialist dementia care home, Claremont Court, Guildford

Carebase hosted the official opening of its Claremont Court Care Home in Stoughton, Guildford, yesterday with a very special guest.

ITV Daybreak’s Dr Hilary Jones officially opened the new Specialist Dementia Home, Claremont Court, which opened in August this year and boasts state-of-the-art facilities and wonderful gardens and outdoor space. TV celebrity Dr Hilary Jones, the resident doctor on ITV’s Daybreak, spent the afternoon enjoying the home’s facilities, meeting staff and residents, and chatting to the guests at the home.

Dr Hilary was particularly impressed with the home’s spacious rooms, great use of light, in-house cinema and the outdoor putting green – he said it would be wonderful if all UK care homes were the standard of Claremont Court.
